We have a Sur La Table down the road, and I do spend what seems like hours in there just walking around checking everything out. This salad is so colorful and inviting–the avocado is just right in there with the grapefruit, watercress, and crab.

I like the combination of crab and grapefruit; I’ve never had it, but I think the crab’s sweetness and the tart/bitter flavor of the grapefruit is a great match! And avocado — always a happy guest in any meal, as it adds so much creamy texture!
